About Chef Kimberly
Welcome to Sophisticated Lady Catering, I am founder/CEO, Kimberly Donalson. If you haven't noticed, I have a passion for culinary art and vision for creating. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas I completed my applied science degree in Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu Dallas, TX. I also have had formal classic training at the Art Institute of Dallas as well. I began cooking at the early age of 11 years old along sides of my late maternal grandmother and God grandmother. I fell in love with food and had dreams of someday having people requesting my dishes. Since then I and have been grooming my skills and craft to become an Executive chef in the future & cook book author.
Working in corporate America ten plus years I decided to take my love for food to the next level and started The Sophisticated Lady Catering in January 2014 a full service catering & food management company. I like to provide my clients delicious modern cuisine with a sophisticated flare. My goal is to bring innovation, diversity and quality to every gathering whether it’s an intimate home dinner or large gala for thousands. I work directly with my clients to customize any menu item or theme offering creative ideas to help plan an event that will leave a lasting impression and give your guest "A Taste Of Sophistication “
